About Moto Foundation

Moto Foundation is the charitable arm of Moto Hospitality, the UK’s leading motorway service area provider.

Since July last year, and following a company-wide colleague vote, Moto Foundation entered into a five-year national partnership with Mind, the leading mental health charity across England and Wales, and SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health), the leading mental health charity in Scotland. The partnership aims to raise £1.25 million and raise mental health awareness with both our colleagues and customers. In the year since the partnership began, over £300,000 has already been raised for these two fantastic charities.

Your £50 balloon will go towards helping Mind and SAMH make sure anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support.

About Mind

Mind is here to fight for mental health. Every year in the UK, 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem. But most of us don’t get the help we need. This has to change.

Mind are there to offer information and support for anyone who needs it – on their website, through their online Side by Side community and through the helplines that they run. With a network of over 100 local Minds spread across both England and Wales, tailored, quality mental health services and support is available for anyone that needs it within their community.

About SAMH

Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) believe that we all have mental health, irrespective of gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status. Mental health can have the most profound impact on our relationships, our work, our wellbeing, and quality of life. Societal stigma and discrimination against people with mental health problems remains a major barrier to inclusion. There should be no barriers in place for people to seek help or recover.
